Job Description

As a technical sales representative with us, you will play a central role in understanding the customer's process flows and translating them into technical solution proposals. You will work closely with our project engineers, other sales representatives, and production/assembly – and together you will develop equipment and systems that meet the customer's requirements for functionality, safety, and efficiency.

The role suits you who thrive in a varied everyday life where technology meets relationship building.

Your responsibilities include:

  • driving the entire sales process – from initial contact to quote and closure
  • developing long-term customer relationships within the industry, primarily in Sweden and the Nordic countries.
  • analyzing customer needs and presenting technical solutions
  • working closely with the project team to ensure the right delivery
  • representing IBC during customer visits, FAT/SAT, trade shows, and technical presentations

The position involves travel within Sweden and the Nordic countries, primarily to customers and partners, and in some cases, travel within Europe may also occur.

Qualifications / Personal Attributes

We are looking for someone with technical understanding and experience in B2B sales, preferably within industry, mechanical engineering, process equipment, or similar fields. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is required, and it is an advantage if you understand the different Nordic languages. You do not need to be a designer, but you should be comfortable discussing technical solutions and understanding system construction. Experience in solution selling is a plus.

As a person, you are:

  • technically curious and used to discussing customer challenges
  • analytical with the ability to understand how mechanical and process-related parts interact
  • communicative and good at explaining technology in a clear and trust-building manner
  • structured, responsible, and used to managing multiple deals or customer dialogues simultaneously
  • outgoing and relationship-building
  • collaborative and appreciate an environment where knowledge is shared and solutions are developed together

Experience with business systems (we work in Pyramid) and technical documentation is a plus but not a requirement.
